NEXT meter comes preset with blood sugar
Target ranges for Fasting, Before Meal, and After Meal
results. The preset range is 3.9 - 7.2 mmol/L for Fasting and
Before Meal, and 3.9 - 10.0 mmol/L for After Meal. These
Target ranges are only available when AutoLog is ON. If
AutoLog is OFF, you will have an Overall Target range only,
which is preset to 3.9 - 10.0 mmol/L.
WARNING
Discuss your Target range settings with your health
care professional.
1. Press and hold the OK button until
the meter turns on.
2. From the setup menu, select Targets.
Press the OK button.
3. Set Targets will be highlighted. Press
the OK button.
4. The Fasting Target range will appear
(3.9 – 7.2 mmol/L). You can Accept the
target by pressing the OK button.
Setting Targets When AutoLog is ON
5. To change the Target, press the
button to highlight Change and
press the OK button.
9. The Before Meal Target range will
appear (3.9 – 7.2 mmol/L). You can
Accept the Targets by pressing the
OK button.
6. Use the or button to change the
highlighted value. When you see the
value you want, press the OK button,
and you will move to the next Fasting
Target value (7.2 mmol/L)
7. To change this Fasting Target value,
use the or button and press the
OK button when you are finished.
8. Press the OK button to move to the
Before Meal target.
